What is included in our Birthday Party booking?

ANSWER
  • The birthday boy or girl will receive a FREE soccer ball.

What kind of Birthday Party can I book?

ANSWER

You can book:

  • Birthday Party (original)
  • Birthday Party with Large Inflatable Soccer World
  • Birthday Party with Mini Inflatable Soccer World
  • Birthday Party with Music and Puppet Show.

What else can can I add to my Birthday Party booking?

ANSWER

  • hire Soccer Darts inflatable dart board

If we need to cancel the Birthday Party, how much notice must we give?

ANSWER

If you cancel your Birthday Party, the following cancellation policies apply:

Example 1: Two weeks before your party date, the birthday boy/girl gets a new baby sibling four weeks early! With 12 days to go before the party, you let us know that something unexpected has happened, and you cancel your party. We give you a full refund.

Example 2: Heavy rain is forecast on the day of your party. With one day to go it’s bucketing down, and you decide to cancel the party and let us know. In this example, we would give you a Credit Note on your account to use towards future goods and services from us. Using this Credit Note, you could rebook your party for a future date.

Example 3: Your party starts in a few hours and it’s raining. You don’t want to cancel the party, and you know of an undercover option nearby. You let us know with two hours to go, and your party goes ahead undercover.

Example 4: Your party starts in a few hours and it’s raining. You have also booked the Music Show option with your Birthday Party. You let us know with three hours to go and cancel the Birthday Party part of the booking and receive a Credit Note to use towards good and services from us. You go ahead with the Music Show part of the booking, because it can still be held on the day, as the Music Show is held indoors.


What are the terms of the Credit Note?

ANSWER

If a Credit Note offer applies to you, we will offer you a Credit Note to the value of your original payment, which you can use to purchase goods and services from us.


If I have any last minute changes, who do I contact?

ANSWER

Our office is open seven days a week. Opening hours are:
Monday – Friday from 8am-4pm; and
Saturday & Sunday from 8am-10am.
If you have any late changes, please email our office rather than leave messages on our voice mail.


What if guest numbers change for my Birthday Party?

ANSWER

If your numbers do go up or down, please contact the office–at least five days prior to the event–so we can organise the correct number of coaches, medals, and certificates required. If you give less than five days’ notice, we will make every attempt to service your request, but it may not always be possible.


When is payment required?

ANSWER

We will send an invoice at the time we confirm your booking. You must pay within 7 days of receiving the invoice or prior to the event – whichever occurs first.

Do you do themed Birthday Parties?

ANSWER

We most definitely do! We can theme our fun soccer games to suit your little one’s interests and hobbies. Examples include: Peppa Pig, Paw Patrol, Spider-Man, Minecraft, etc.


Do you have public liability insurance?

ANSWER

Yes we do.


Do your staff have valid blue cards?

ANSWER

Yes they do.


How is the distance from the venue calculated for location surcharges?

ANSWER

We type our Murarrie address and your address into Google Maps. We use the distance between locations (travelling by car) given to us by Google Maps.

Location surcharges apply may apply to (see pricing page for more info):
Inflatable options, if venue is more than 60km from our base; or
Music Show option, if venue is more than 11km from our base.


PARTIES WITH INFLATABLES


How long does it take to assemble Inflatable Soccer World?

ANSWER

Large Inflatable: One coach will take one hour to assemble it.
Mini Inflatable: One coach will take 30 minutes to assemble it.


How long does it take to dismantle Inflatable Soccer World?

ANSWER

Large Inflatable: One coach will take one hour to dismantle it.
Mini Inflatable: One coach will take 30 minutes to dismantle it.


How many people can be in the inflatable at one time?

ANSWER

To ensure the safety of all participants at all times, an upper limit of 15 people inside the Mini or Large Inflatable Soccer World at any one time may be enforced at the coach’s discretion.


Can I hire a generator to power the inflatable?

ANSWER

Yes. If you require the use of our generator, you pay a $40 hire fee per generator.
Please note: the maximum electricity lead we provide is 20m.


My back yard isn’t big enough. Can we just use the local park?

ANSWER

The use of a local park may require permission from the local government authority (e.g. your local council). It is the responsibility of the person who is paying to hire the inflatable to obtain the appropriate permissions to use public property. Please discuss your plans for a venue with us at the time of booking.


What sort of access is required for Inflatable Soccer World?

ANSWER

Our inflatables are quite heavy. Because of this, we require clear access to drive our van up to the spot where you want the Inflatable Soccer World assembled. Please discuss your plans for a venue with us at the time of booking, so we may consider whether it is an accessible venue or not.


Can I hire inflatables at night, or only during the day?

ANSWER

You can hire Inflatable Soccer Worlds. Soccer Bounce, and Soccer Darts for daytime or evening functions (subject to availability).


If we need to cancel an inflatable, how much notice must we give?

ANSWER
If you have booked an inflatable as part of your Birthday Party (i.e. Soccer Darts, Soccer Bounce, or Mini/Large Inflatable Soccer World), and you cancel that inflatable booking, the following cancellation policies apply:

You also let us know at that time that you have found an undercover option in the park, and you go ahead with the Birthday Party (without Soccer Bounce).


What are the terms of the Credit Note?

If a Credit Note offer applies to you, we will offer you a Credit Note to the value of your original payment, which you can use to purchase goods and services from us.


How long does Soccer Bounce and Soccer Darts take to assemble?

ANSWER

Soccer Bounce will take 20-30 minutes to assemble.

Soccer Darts will take 15 minutes to assemble.


How long does Soccer Bounce and Soccer Darts take to dismantle?

ANSWER

Soccer Bounce will take 30-40 minutes to dismantle.

Soccer Darts will take 15 minutes to dismantle.


How big is Soccer Bounce and Soccer Darts?

ANSWER

The Soccer Bounce measures 6m x 6m x 6m.

Soccer Darts is 3 metres high.


How much room do I need for Soccer Bounce and Soccer Darts?

ANSWER

Soccer Bounce: You will need to allow an area of at least 10m long x 8m wide x 8m high.

Soccer Darts: You will need to allow an area of 2m wide x 4m high.


What surface is required for Soccer Bounce and Soccer Darts?

ANSWER

If the event is outdoors, you will need to provide a grassed area, so we can safely and securely peg Soccer Bounce or Soccer Darts into the ground. Alternatively, Soccer Bounce and Soccer Darts can be used indoors in an enclosed area. Please contact us to discuss the indoor option further so we can assess the area for suitability.


If our venue is a long way from your base at Murarrie, will there be a location surcharge for the inflatables?

ANSWER

Yes. Any venue more than 60km from our Murarrie base incurs a location surcharge. See pricing tab for details.


Dry Hire Customers: Things you must know before hiring Inflatable Soccer World (large or mini), Soccer Bounce, or Soccer Darts

ANSWER

Dry Hire is where you hire one of our inflatables without supervisors or coaches included for the duration of your hire. We deliver it, assemble it, dismantle it, and collect it from your address. What is the Music & Puppet Show?

ANSWER

Our show provides a positive message to children about the importance of a healthy lifestyle. We share this message by combining our love and knowledge of sport, with the fun of music and drama.


How long does the Music and Puppet Show go for?

ANSWER

The show runs for 35-45 minutes, depending on the interaction/engagement of the children. We will adapt to the group dynamics on the day.


How many children can attend the Music and Puppet Show?

ANSWER

There is no limit on the amount of children who can attend. Just make sure you have the space to accommodate them.


What age group is the Music and Puppet Show most suitable for?

ANSWER

Our show is designed for children aged between 1-6 years old.


How do I book the Music and Puppet Show with my Birthday Party?

ANSWER

When you book online, you just select the option for Music and Puppet Show Birthday Party.


How soon should I book the Music and Puppet Show?

ANSWER

To ensure a day and time suitable to your service or private party, we recommend that you contact us at least 1-2 months prior to the date you would like. Having said that, we will do what we can to accommodate your booking preferences when you contact us.


What sized room do I need to hold the Music and Puppet Show?

ANSWER

It will depend on the number of children attending, but an average sized room would usually be adequate. Feel free to discuss this with us when you book.


Is there much set-up time required before or after the Music and Puppet Show?

ANSWER

We require approximately 30 minutes before the show for our staff to set up. We require approximately 30 minutes after the show for our staff to pack up.


How many Ginger Sport staff will attend the Music and Puppet Show?

ANSWER

Two. The musician and puppeteer.


Do you need access to power outlets for the Music and Puppet Show?

ANSWER

Yes please. We will only need one power point, but it can’t be more than 20m away.


When do I pay for the Music and Puppet Show Birthday Party?

ANSWER

Full payment is required immediately on receiving your invoice.


If we need to cancel the Music and Puppet Show part of our Birthday Party, how much notice must we give?

ANSWER

If you have booked the Music and Puppet Show option as part of your party booking, and you cancel the Music and Puppet Show component, the following cancellation policies apply:

Our venue is more than 150km from your Murarrie base. Can we still book the Music and Puppet Show?

ANSWER

No. Unfortunately we don’t travel further than 150km from our home base to perform the show.
